    This detailed map covers the NW part of Wigan, with coverage stretching from the Gidlow Works westward to Standish Lower Ground, and northward to Gidlow New Houses. Features include Giants Hall Colliery, Douglas Bank Colliery, Springfield Park, Standish Washery, Gidlow pits, Rylands Sidings, Martland Mill Bridge with tramway, Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The Beech Hill Avenue area is shown under development. A directory of Shevington, Beech Hill Lane, Woodhouse Lane is on the reverse.

    This map links up with Sheets 85.15 Boar's Head to the north, 93.02 Gathurst to the west, 93.04 Wigan North to the east and 93.07 Wigan West to the south.
