  • Here are the details of maps for Blundellsands:

  • Lancashire Sheet 98.08 Blundellsands 1907 - published 2003; intro by Mike Greatbatch. ISBN.978-1-84151-281-5

We actually give you three maps with this title! The main map is sheet 98.08 which covers Blundellsands, from Victoria Road West southward to Holden Street, and from the coast inland to Eshe Road. Features include Blundellsands House, St Nicholas church, Blundellsands & Crosby station, Beachside Towers, Brighton le Sands, Blundellsands Park, St Joseph's RC church and lots of detached villas. We attach adjacent sheet 98.12 to the south and this covers the area around Oxford Drive. On the reverse we include the 1925 revision of sheet 98.08 so that you can see what changes took place over those years.

This map links up with sheet 99.05 Crosby and 99.09 Waterloo to the east.
