    We have published two versions of this map, showing how the area changed across the years.

    Thje maps cover the centre of Droylsden, Fairfield, Higher Openshaw, Abbey Hey and part of Audenshaw. Coverage stretches from Vine Street eastward to Ryecroft Hall, and from Abbey Hey Lane northward to Baguley Street. Features include the Great Central Railway with Fairfield station and junction, Audenshaw Reservoir Nr.3, St Clements church, tramways, Audenshaw Hall, Manchester & Ashton Canal, Waifs & Strays Home, Ryecroft Hall, Golden Shred Works, Droylsden Mills, Angola Mill, Victoria Mills, Fairfield Mills, Springfield Print Works, St Mary's church, Abbey Hey Pottery etc. We include directory extracts on the reverse.
