    This highly detailed map at a 'Yard to the Mile' scale covers central Hackney; coverage stretches from Dalston Rise and Amhurst Road eastward to Upper Homerton and Isabella Road. Features on the map include Mare Street with Hackney station, St John's church, Congregational Chapel, Assembly Rooms, Amhurst Road East, Dalston Lane, Lower Clapton Road, Morning Lane, Sutton Place, Spurstowe Road. covering a residential area in great detail, the map is very attractive, even showing many garden layouts. On the reverse we include the 1893 map for the same area, at a slightly reduced scale; this includes tramways with North Metropolitan Tramways Depot, and Great Eastern Railway with Hackney Downs station.

    The map links up with Sheet 7.09 Homerton to the east.
