These detailed maps maps normally cover an area of about one and a half miles by one mile. Each map includes an introduction. The Middlesex maps link up with those for London to form a major series for the Greater London area. They are available through our On-line Mapshop

Middlesex Sheet 2.16 Enfield Wash 1910 - published 2010; introduction by Pamela Taylor

This very detailed map covers the northern part of Enfield, including the Freezy Water, Enfield Wash and Enfield Lock areas. Coverage stretches from Connop Road northward to Bullsmoor Lane, and from Turkey Street eastward to Salisbury Road.

Features include St George's church, numerous nurseries, College Farm, Albany Park, Officers' Quarters, tramway, sewage farm, schools and chapels, Turkey Street area, GER lines with Fortyhill station, Enfield Lock station, Grove House, small stretch of New River etc. On the reverse we include a 1933 commercial directory of Enfield Wash.

The map links up with Middlesex Sheets 3.13 Enfield Lock to the east, 7.04 Enfield Highway to the south.
