Old Ordnance Survey Maps of Yorkshire

We first started to publish maps of Yorkshire in 1983, starting in Rotherham. Since then the series has grown to well over 100 maps, so it makes sense to split this catalogue into several pages, generally based on today's administrative areas. There are also index maps for most areas, giving an idea of the map coverage. And at the foot of the list there is also a link which will give you a complete list of maps for the county.

Follow these links for the various areas:

  • Teesside including Middlesbrough
  • North Yorkshire, incl York and Scarborough
  • Bradford
  • Leeds
  • Hull, Humberside and East Riding
  • Halifax and Calderdale
  • Huddersfield and Kirklees
  • Wakefield area
  • Barnsley
  • Doncaster
  • Rotherham
  • Sheffield
  • And here is a list of all the maps in Yorkshire

Much of Yorkshire is also covered in our Inch to the Mile series. For a list of this growing series go to the One Inch page for further details.

Maps in the Godfrey Edition are taken from the 25 inch to the mile map and reduced to about 15 inches to the mile. They cost just £ 2.50 each. For a full list of Yorkshire maps, return to the Yorkshire page
